Another feature I found nice was “Smart Lookup”. You can mark any word or phrase and instantly get information about it. There were times when I used to go to Google to search for something but in Office 2016 everything was there without any extra effort. Whenever I had information about a scientific term or even a historical figure I just clicked on it and chose “Smart Lookup” and I got all the information I needed. This made work faster and saved time.

According to my data scientist friends, the new charts have made their lives so much easier and faster. They can present large data in a very concise and clear manner with these charts which is very useful in business and research.

Tell Me Feature – Easy Search and Navigation

The other feature of Office 2016 is the “Tell Me” bar. You look for a feature and go through the menu again and again. But the “Tell Me” bar has ended all that. You just write the name of that feature in this bar, and you get what you want.

Whenever I train new users to Office, they always say they get lost in menus. But when I show them “Tell Me”, they start using it right away and speed up work.

OneDrive Integration – Files Always Safe

If you, just like me, always worry you might misplace files somewhere, then it is a godsend for you. You just upload your files on OneDrive and hen access them via any of the devices. In case your computer breaks down whatever the reason it may be; your files will always be in safe hands.

Office 2016: Ready for today

It remains reliable today if you want something simple and stable that meets all your basic requirements; I never saw anyone walk away unhappy while working with this version. But if you want full benefits of modern features in the cloud and AI then Office 365 might be best for you at the end.

It still gives a nice feel in the sense that simplicity, performance, and cloud integration are still pretty solid. So if the person wants to avoid complexity and advanced versions and prefers stability along with sure success while performing simple tasks, then Office 2016 will best serve them.
